What is Temesta Lorazepam 2.5mg?
Benzodiazepines such as Lorazepam 2.5mg are used to treat muscle spasms, seizures, and convulsions, as well as anxiety, epilepsy, and seizures. They also help prevent alcohol withdrawal symptoms such as sweating or difficulty sleeping in hospitals.

Lorazepam is frequently administered prior to surgical procedures or dental procedures to sedate the patient. It is also used to treat sleeping problems associated with anxiety.
Lorazepam 2mg is usually given to clients on a short-term basis, usually for a few days to four weeks, with a dose reduction at the finish. This minimizes the likelihood of becoming dependent on Lorazepam or experiencing unpleasant side effects when you cease taking it.

Important Information

This medicine can cause birth defects or life-threatening withdrawal symptoms in a newborn.
How to take this medicine?
Lorazepam must be taken as your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you. This product is a 2.5mg tablet version.
- anxiety – 1mg to 4mg each day; your doctor will tell you how often you need to take it
- sleep problems – 1mg to 2mg before bedtime (lorazepam will start to work in around 20 to 30 minutes)
- a pre-med for adults – 2mg to 3mg the night before the procedure and then 2mg to 4mg about 1 to 2 hours before your procedure
- a pre-med for children aged 1 month to 11 years – dose will depend on the child’s weight
- a pre-med for children aged 12 to 17 years and up – 1mg to 4mg the night before the procedure and/or at least 1 hour before the procedure
